All ready to go to the 8am class today. Dressed- check Pre workout drink - check Rehydrate mixed and ready to go- check Literally on the way out the door and reaching for my car keys - and what?!? My husband drove home from dinner last night and the keys are no where to be found. And of course he’s at the gym coaching so I can’t call and ask where they are. Sucks! Spent 45 minutes looking and now I give up.
EDIT- finally found them. My kiddo hid them. awesome.
Omg-dying. I ate a cupcake today. A huge cupcake from a cupcake specialty store so it is really like eating two cupcakes and ate the entire thing. It’s been 5 hours since and I’ve literally thrown up and have the worst cramps and bloating. Pretty painful
I’ve had bites of gluten things here and there since giving it up. Even a piece of pizza but this was major overload. Both sugar and gluten.
I won’t be doing that ever again. It’s so insane that it happens - I’ve been a gluten = evil (dramatic I know) and this is over the top. So many people have issues with it and even more that have them and are unaware.

I brought my kiddo tonight and he had to go potty right before the WOD started so I started late. Then, he stole my poker chips that I was using to count rounds, TWICE. So I had to go off of what other people were doing time-wise and it was hard to tell. I don’t think I did an extra round, but I’m not 100% sure. Oh well!
my double unders were much better today, and I actually got 10 in a row which was a first! I am down to 1 jump & 1 Double under and have been getting most at least 3 or 4 in a row so that feels good. it does suck to be tired and out of breath and doing way more jumps then I need to but forcing myself to do them in WODs has been really helpful in learning.
the Pullups were really hard, and I only did the first 2 rounds unbroken. by the last round I was doing 2’s and then even a few singles. And I know my form on pushups wasn’t amazing.
I’ve decided that I am going to spend one day working on things I suck at each week. Maybe make them into a WOD and just do it. work my weaknesses. 1-2 days a week Bikram/yoga, 2-3 days regular xfit class and 1 day xfit weakness day. 2 rest days each week- or does a regular yoga count as a rest day? not bikram, but yoga?
Gluten free bread at Jason’s Deli! Means I get to have a Reuben! So excited.
Even though I just totally wimped out at Crossfit-
My stomach has been really tight around the incisions and my left hip flexor has been bothering me (where they removed a good portion of tissue)
But I’m traveling this week so I felt like I had to go…
when it was time to start the WOD there wasn’t enough boxes for everyone and I took it as a sign. And I felt like a baby about it.
I am going to bikram to tonight and have an appointment for acupuncture set up as well so hopefully that will help break some of this tightness up!
